Here’s Part II of my trip to Fairmont Mayakoba Playa del Carmen! These photos are from the last half of the trip which included a boat ride around the property, a relaxing massage at the spa, and even more delicious food. You can see my post of Part I here!
The Fairmont Mayakoba has so many beautiful pools if you’re not really into getting all sandy at the beach. I met Merrit Beck of The Style Scribe on this trip and we shot near one of the pools.
After a delicious breakfast of chilaquiles (breakfast nachos) and fruit, we headed to the Willow Stream Spa for some pampering. I had one of the best massages of my life at this spa! Their staff is so attentive and there’s yummy juice in the waiting area. If you’re not into massages, they have other services to help you relax.
After the massage at the spa, we went on a boat tour of the Fairmont Mayakoba property. For the most part, we traveled around on golf carts, but it wasn’t until we were on the boat that I realized how big the resort is! We saw some lizards, birds, and fish. They said sometimes you’ll see alligators, but we didn’t see any.
They gave us our own cute coconut drinks for the boat ride! Pictured above are (from left to right) Jenn Lake, Jess Sturdy, Megan Runion, Christie Ferrari, and Merritt Beck.
One of my favorite dinners was at El Puerto. The food was amazing and I loved the décor!
