Well, get ready for a series of posts from my recent trip to Los Cabos! We were only there for three days, but I took a TON of photos. It was so nice to escape from the dreary Chicago winter for a few days. One of the lifestyle bloggers I shoot for, Jessica, had the opportunity to stay at the all-inclusive resort Paradisus Los Cabos and to share her experience. She was able to bring a guest, so she asked me to come along to shoot with her while we were able to be somewhere warm. I was so happy I was able to go! It was my first time out of the country…good thing I got my passport last year! I was definitely spoiled with this trip.

The rooms were AMAZING. I love all the details and really want those gold lamps in my apartment. And the beds – omg – so comfy! I surrounded myself in pillows and didn’t want to leave.

I couldn’t believe how large the resort was and the view of the Sea of Cortez was amazing. Since the terrain is very rocky, some of the parts where the land meets the water is unsafe, but the Paradisus has one of the only swimmable beaches in Los Cabos. There’s plenty of space to relax on the sand and go swimming in the gulf. Or if pool swimming is more your thing, their pool is one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen!

One of my favorite features of the pool beside the bridges was the swim-up bar. You don’t even need to leave the water to grab a drink! Also, I don’t know what they’re called, but check out those fun egg swing chairs!

The first night we went to a tequila and mezcal tasting. I haven’t tried mezcal before that night – the mezcalita is my new favorite drink!

I love all the details and how everything is designed. Whoever the interior designer was did a great job making everything look so classy and clean!

One of the nights we went to a cigar rolling class and cognac tasting. I’m not into cigars (I am into cognac), but it was so interesting seeing how cigars are really made! Tobacco leaves are larger than I thought.

After the cigar class, we went to an ELEVEN COURSE dinner at Seven Ster Michelin Chef Martin Berasategui’s Gastro Bar. I didn’t get any other photos of the restaurant other than the one below because I was too busy eating (duh) but you can bet the space was as gorgeous as the rest of the resort.
