Sandra and Brandon actually met through a friend! One summer, they just kept bumping into each other and the rest was history! After 3 years together during the pandemic, Brandon proposed to Sandra in the sweetest way possible. It caught Sandra completely off-guard. They were on their way to Brandon’s parents’ house to celebrate his sister having a baby. Once they arrived, Sandra was greeted with a trail of rose petals to which Brandon kneeled and popped the question. Surrounded by her family and even her sister who flew in from LA – she happily said “yes”. Ugh, gives me goosebumps! 

Wisconsin Wedding at Lake Geneva

Brandon and Sandra had the most beautiful outdoor Wisconsin wedding at Geneva National Resort & Club right by Lake Geneva. They chose this venue specifically because it fulfilled their love of nature and were completely sold on the overlook where the ceremony would take place. Something that was really important to them was to make sure that their wedding was the entire weekend. They wanted to spend as much time with their loved ones as possible and have both families get to know each other! Both of them wanted something elegant and romantic but also in their words “minimalist summery chic”. What was special about their wedding was that Brandon’s dad coordinated all of the decor and for Sandra, this was fantastic and very low stress for her. It was amazing to have both sides of the family feel involved in the planning of their wedding, especially when that isn’t always the “traditional” route. I mean… who says you can’t rewrite traditions, right?

Sandra was wearing this beautiful high neck A-line dress with a little train… and looked absolutely BEAUTIFUL! So beautiful in fact, Brandon was absolutely blown away when he saw her for their first look. Speaking of first looks, I absolutely LOVE when my couples incorporate them in their wedding day. First looks are the perfect option for anyone who’s facing those pre-wedding jitters. It’s also an amazing opportunity for the two of you to gain some alone time before a full day of excitement!

Wedding Ceremony & Reception

The ceremony was absolutely breathtaking with the gorgeous overlook of the lake. On top of that, the weather was just perfect so we couldn’t have asked for a better day for this outdoor Wisconsin wedding. You could definitely see the emotions between Sandra and Brandon as they exchanged vows. Tears in their eyes as they finally said “I do” – it was just such a touching moment for everyone. Of course, the reception was a blast as well and everyone had so much fun on the dance floor. As the guests entered the room, the band led everyone in a huge group dance to get everyone pumped and excited for the party. This Wisconsin wedding was everything that you could have ever imagined and more. Surrounded by friends, family, and a whole lot of love.
